China’s ‘Wolf Warrior Diplomacy’ is Dangerous
Orville Schell has confessed that China is following ‘Wolf Warrior Diplomacy’ at a global level. It means it is focusing on its growth and expansion irrespective of the interests of other countries.
As a result, many countries are now framing policies to stop China’s efforts to dominate the world. Besides, the analyst said if China’s efforts continue, then it could lead to the ending of many things that exist today.
He calls China’s way of diplomacy immense danger for the world. Moreover, the analyst suspects it could spoil China’s relations with other countries.
China is spreading its reach throughout the world since the onset of the Covid-19 situation. Owing to this, the country is experiencing deterioration of its relations with other countries in the world.
Aggressive Behavior Towards Other Countries
China has imposed sanctions on Australia, indulged in a military clash with India along the border, and controlled parts of the disputed South China Sea. Besides, China is showing its aggressive behavior against other nations.
Additionally, wars are going on social media between China and other nations. Schell said China is alienating every other nation on becoming more and more powerful with time.
International Pressure Piling on China
International pressure is increasing steadily on China as other countries are making efforts to stop China. For example, US president Joe Biden has called allies to question China’s human rights violations and non-market practices.
In March, the US and its allies imposed sanctions on China for its human rights violation against ethnic minorities in West Xinjiang. China responded by imposing its own sanctions on other nations.
Despite the criticism of China at a global level, the Chinese government still enjoys domestic support. China’s people are still supporting their country by going against their history and experiences.
